The Whisper of the Fairies

You know my obsession with fairies so, I decided that after a fantasy story, a horror one and a Regency romance novella, I should finally write a story about these astonishing little creatures that constantly haunt my imagination every time Spring comes. I know it's a very daring project but I have an amazing story in mind about a young girl Ninde and her unicorn Kirin. I've already written the first 1000 words on it and I am deliriously happy, in spite of the fact that we haven't managed yet to entirely solve our roof  problems and our house is still upside down.

In the meantime, I take great pleasure in documenting my story and observing the competition :). Some of the fairy books that caught my eye are: Splintered - a romantic YA written by A.G. Howard, it's about a girl's adventures in a mysterious land. Family curses, enchanted beings and an interesting approach on Alice in Wonderland.
Wicked Fate is written by Tabatha Vargo and is the story of a young girl who discovers her amazing magical abilities (today is still free).
The Forever Fae Series, written by L.P. Dover is an irresistible invitation to the Land of the Fae, where Princess Calista of the Summer Court faces tremendous challenges regarding both her kingdom and her heart.

Other titles from the same genre would be "Three wishes" by Paula Millhouse, "Glamour" by Penelope Fletcher, " Confounding Cupid" by Susan Mac Nicol and from my beloved publishing house, Crushing Hearts and Black Butterfly, I highly recommend " Faire Eve" by lovely and magical Catherine Stovall and the "Soul Mates series" by Elizabeth A. Lance. Also, author Milla V. is preparing a breathtaking story about a Selkie, which will hopefully be released this autumn.
