For Day 6 of Art Every Day Month, I'm switching gears.
Tuesdays I have the special joy of spending the afternoon with my favorite five-year-old on the planet. I realized before I went to pick him up from school I wouldn't have time to commit to creating anything with glue or paint or ink or even scavenging through my multitude of media.
Instead, a simple photo and a graphic I made for my "blog inspiration series"
The quote image below is for tomorrow's blog post for my blogging, writing & creative inspiration series.
If you are curious about the blog inspiration series, here are a couple links to recent posts, this one with writing prompts and a quote from Terry Tempest Williams on Beauty in a Broken World and this one with an image, writing prompts and a quote from Dag Hammerskjold.
I haven't written any content yet for the Eleanor Roosevelt quote and image yet. You'll have to come back later to check out that sure to be inspiring blog post! The background is a photo of tempera paint on paper. I painted it about three years ago and rediscovered it this weekend!
