BAM. Oral sex. In the fucking Bible. I had heard it was there, and I went and found it myself in Song of Solomon (like a pro, I might add). I'm still going to read the rest of this book too, because it's pretty good, and I am curious what else I will find. It's sort of like a softcore porn story, this one. Complete with flowery language.
I also noticed that in this version the editor, Mr. Scofield, seemed to skip RIGHT over that verse when he made his little notes and edits.
Which I find slightly hilarious.
I think that since he was making the comparison between Solomon/Solomon's Bride and Christ/The Church...he read that verse and got a mental picture of sucking off Jesus.
And in true Christian form, he ignored it and kept right on going.
Just thought I should share that with you all.
