These Toys Rock: This Month’s Awesome Toy Library Finds

Posted on the 01 April 2012 by Thismumrocks @thismumrocksnz

*note** This is an unsolicited account of our Toy Library experiences.  While we are members of our local Toy Library, I am not on any committee, have not been asked to review/promote this organisation and its offerings, and have not been compensated for this post (unless you count the huge smiles & giggles from my little one.)

Confession: I am notoriously bad at returning library books….and it seems the same holds true for Toy Library toys.

It’s not that I forget, I seem to want to hold on to them longer than I should.  As soon as I figure Rowdy Hannah Riley’s is all played out with a particular toy she seems to rediscover or find a new way of playing with what we have out on loan.

Luckily, our local Toy Library offers long term lending on some items. Whoever selects the Toy Library toys is doing a great job sourcing versitile, durable, high quality toys that provide hours of education & entertainment.

The latest discoveries:

TEA SET

How about a Toy Library Tea Party?

SHAPES PUZZLE

Mmmm, Oval or Circle? What's your favourite shape?

STACKING SET

So they stack on top of each other?

In case you still need convincing, here are 5 reason’s why Toy Libraries Rock
