Things to do in the next eight years if life permits:
1. Visit Rome
2. Visit Switzerland
3. Live in the US for at least two months.
4. Visit Vaishno Devi Temple
5. Stay in Kashmir for at least a month
6. Make a trip to Nainital, Dehradun, Uttaranchal.
7. Send the kids to the best college possible.
8. Do a world tour without the kids.
9. Go on a month long pilgrimage in South India.
10. Find what my passion in life is and pursue it.
I know, I know…this is too depressing. But what am I supposed to do? I kinda feel useless now.
None of the above is an easy task. Neither financially nor physically. But then there is no harm in dreaming is there?
I was just wondering what people generally have on their “10 must do before I die list”. Am I the only one who is crazy enough to have such a list. Wonder if any of you would like to share your list with me. Just to confirm that I haven’t hit the insanity note completely.
I will have no regrets if none of the above happens. But if they do, then that’s happiness and bliss. It’s all left up to fate or is it?
Happiness is felt from within. I know I will be happy spending vacations at home with my kids. But if that vacation was spent in an exotic location, will the happiness be any less?
Materialism is here to stay.
