This Blog Is Apparently Funny!

Posted on the 15 October 2019 by Laurken @stoicjello

This will be a short post today.  No puns, word play, nothing about angst or lost loves or an aging metabolism gone awry.      I’m kind of in shock to be  honest.     Feedspot and its panel of funny judges like my blog!  They really like it!

And it has been named……ready for this:   One of 124 Funniest Blogs on the webosphere!!!  Is that even a word?  Oh, who the hell cares.   I’m going to let my narcissism run amuck and congratulate myself.   Unlike Reverend Dimsdale (you know the, the horny preacher who liked to flock a certain member of his flock from Hawthorne’s “The Scarlet Letter”), none of that usual self-flagellation, or eating my feelings today.

I’m going to celebrate by doing what all funny writer’s do in the midst of an MS flare:  I’m going to stay in bed and sleep and /or bitch and complain about how much I hurt to anyone who’ll listen which means my furry but enterprising baby boy man/child son:

No, not Hunter Biden.    I mean my beloved Bixby

will get an earful.

Now, Feedspot has uh…….asked me in in no uncertain  terms:

to include a link to the 123 other Funniest Blogs that ever existed.   See below..   I’m currently  at number 117, but the rankings change weekly

Oy, what preshuh for me!

Lastly, I would like to thank Feedspot, of course but most of all—an insincere assload of appreciation must go to my extremely dysfunctional family for their assistance in helping to create this lingering psychopathy of self-loathing, which I understood is psychologically necessary in order for me to be rife with enough hoot and audacity to even write this award winning blog to begin with,

Thank you.
