This Mother’s Day Give the Gift of Nappies

DID YOU KNOW MANY MUMS CANNOT AFFORD TO BUY NAPPIES

As a parent you want to provide the best for your children, and in reality it doesn't have to be anything fancy, just the basics is needed.

Nappies is one of the basics that you need for a new baby or child who is still not toilet trained.
Fancy not having the money to get any nappies?
Fancy going to the shops and there is nothing there for you to purchase, if you did have the spare money to get some at all.

With the current COVID-19 crisis things have become tougher for millions of people in a blink of an eye.

Many people have been panic buying and therefore mums that who are in desperate need of nappies cannot find any, and empty shelves where nappies are supposed to be have been found at many supermarkets across the country.

If I was in the shops and needed nappies for my baby and I couldn't find any I would be in tears. I really would.

This Mother's Day as part of The Nappy Collective's #1millionbums fundraising appeal, we are calling on families to gift virtual nappies to first time mums who are doing it tough due to COVID-19.

As little as $20 can help a family get some much needed nappies for a week. Anything helps and will be greatly appreciated.

Many have to choose to buy nappies or buy food

More About The Nappy Collective

"More than 250,000 Australian children don't have the nappies they need to stay dry, clean and healthy. The Nappy Collectivehelps address this need by redistributing leftover unused disposable nappies to families in crisis. To date The Nappy Collective has redistributed more than 3 million nappies. "

Due to Covid-19, The Nappy Collective are unable to run their May Collective to collect and redistribute nappies from the community.

We know that families are under enormous financial stress and domestic violence is on the increase. The service providers we support are contacting us desperate for nappies.

This means we need the support of the community more than ever to help keep little bums clean.
