This & That

We've had a crazy week around here!!
We j.u.s.t. got the internet set up and you can bet I got on my laptop right away! It feels good to be connected again. The iPhone isn't quite the same.
We started moving Saturday morning and didn't wrap it all up until late last night. We were also painting 2 1/2 rooms at our old apartment and all of us are dealing with bad allergies or colds and both kids have pink eye and Bug has an ear infection. So you can imagine we're all a little wiped out right now. Poor Bug was crying last night and one tear was blood! I about freaked out. We got to the doctor right away this morning and apparently the blood was from her skin being really sensitive from being wiped so often for a week now.
But we're LOVING our new home! I'm really excited that we can really start focusing on unpacking and putting things together here now that we're all moved in.
Things I love about this house:
- The HUGE master closet. Still needs to be organized but it's awesome!
- The big tub in the master bath! The kids love it too. And the master bath is huge.
- A laundry room that is not open to the kitchen. It's great to close the door on the laundry room and have it completely out of sight.
- The garage. Love, love, love the fact that we have all the room out there for storage, strollers, lawn chairs... stuff that used to be crammed in our little apartment.
- The backyard for the kids to play in and I'm really looking forward to landscaping in the months ahead.
- Our front yard is already landscaped and really pretty. The kids are enjoying playing out front too. They really love the garage for some reason. There's so much more for them to do in a house with a yard.
- The tile floors in the dining room. No more filthy carpet under the table!
- Huge entry way. I'm not sure what to put in the entry way but I love how roomy it is.
- Two rooms for the kids. So much more room to keep things neat and organized.
- I love our neighborhood too. It seems nice and quiet. There are sidewalks everywhere, a little playground for the kids, a little pond with ducks and a fountain, and a pool for the summer. I think/hope we'll enjoy living in this area.
I'll post pics soon. Hope everyone is having a great week!!!
