There is one consolation in being sick; and that is the possibility that you may recover to a better state than you were ever in before. - Henry David Thoreau
This is my third day being sick after dealing with my husband's cold.
Not fun, but definitely bearable with three easy steps:

My long list of medications for my "more than a cold"

1.   Call you doctor to get a same-day appointment with the goal of receiving a proper diagnosis.  Yes, completely separate from you WebMD search of symptoms.

CVS is my life saver!

2. Fill your prescription and load-up with the necessities, including Kleenex and Lysol.

Chicken soup and rye bread from Juniors Deli in West LA

3. Hydrate and eat healthy foods.  Even if you are not hungry.
Following these three easy steps may not only cut down your time out of work, but may also help you feel better while dealing with your cold and flu symptoms.
Yours in health,
