If you have followed my Pinterest Art-board, you might have noticed that I like children's books illustrations. The innocent figures, the idealized relationship between humans and animals and the delicacy of the strokes in Joan Walsh Anglund's children's books remind me of my friendship book from second grade. Back then, everyone had a "memory book" (Norwegian: "Minnebok") where friends could write poems and decorate them.
I wonder in what direction my style is going with all this different inspiration that I'm gathering. At least that's one of the beauties of art - the possibility to be constantly inspired.
