Throwing Caution to the Wind

I decided today
to wake up feeling grateful
instead of debilitatingly paranoid.
I'm twiddling with the idea
of having faith in something,
preferably God,
like the rest of my family,
to help each transition from night to day
be less traumatizing.
Besides,
having faith in him is almost avant-garde nowadays
and that suits me pretty well.
