I can't go into detail here but my family and I just got the best news ever about a family friend yesterday!!!! News we've been waiting almost 14 years to hear. A dear, Christian friend is finally going to be reunited with his family after a really, really long time. Wonderful, wonderful news! I wish I could go into more detail but it's not my story to share.
My husband and I are looking forward to spending time with our friends and their little quads soon! I'm so excited!! I love babies and am a little fascinated by multiples. You can bet I will be snapping a ton of pictures and maybe share a few here if I can. All the babies are home and doing well! (They weren't even due to be born by December 1st, so they're doing even better than expected.)
I got myself a Christmas gift this morning. A cute, Storksak diaper bag that looks just like a purse. I found it on Craigslist for a fraction of the retail price and it looks brand new!! I love Craigslist!! :)
I also had to have a cavity filled this afternoon. I was sitting in the waiting room and read an article on the news about a woman who had minor, outpatient face surgery and the electrical tools they were using caught fire and burned her face!! You know that made me a little tense. I'm a worry wart. I just knew those dental tools were gonna catch fire and burn me up!! Ha!! I was relieved when it was all over. (All I need... just something else to worry about...)
I realized earlier this week that I am about 10 lbs heavier than I thought!! Which means I really need to lose A LOT of weight (at least 30 lbs and 40 lbs would be even better!) I've been trying to cut back a little, although it's hard. I hate dieting so cutting back seems to work better for me. We'll start doing the low calorie E-Mealz thing soon and hopefully that will help me stick to a good, balanced diet. I need to start running again. I know I've been saying that forever. I had no excuse not too, I just need to do it!!
I forgot to mention another awesome Cyber Monday deal I took advantage off. I've had my eye on these adorable Erin Condren address labels for awhile and was able to get them 1/2 price earlier this week!! I need to order our Christmas cards today and hopefully will have the labels in time to mail with the cards. This is the first year we've sent out Christmas cards and I'm really excited about it!
We're having nice, kinda cool, overcast weather around here. I love it! It's fun to use our winter clothes and boots and the cool weather puts me in a good Christmas-y mood.
