It seems fitting that a holiday dedicated to this famously knotted bread would fall on the same day as yet another primary.
Believe it or not, the two have a lot in common.
Much like the humble pretzel, this election season has seen its fair share of twists and turns.
It has also come with a wide range of shapes and flavors. Although, more often than not it’s simply been salty.
They’re also addictive, and usually have next to no nutritional value.
Of course, there is one big difference. At the end of the day, everyone loves a good pretzel.
