This post is sort of like Part 2 of “I’m from Malaysia’s Best Technical School”, but I can’t use that title any more cause after batch 2012′s SPM results, TIKL dropped to top 3 technical schools in Malaysia instead. LOL
Anyway, yesterday, I went back to TIKL to collect my official SPM result slip (if that’s what you call it). I took my SPM 2 years back in 2011. Damn, that seems like such a LONG time. The plan was me picking Halim at 9 am then we go to BTR to pick Nad, Bamboo and HanepK before heading to school.
At around 9.05 am, no text message from Halim so I decided to wait for him at the place that we have decided the previous night. 9.30 am, still no sign of him so I called him a LOT of times but no answer. So I thought, I should go pick Nad, Bamboo and HanepK first since they have been waiting for ages at the LRT station.
Off I go, driving and driving and then it came to my mind that I forgot to bring my wallet out = no IC or driving license. I was thinking whether I should go on driving or turn back to get my wallet. The angel in my head won, so I turned back and drove all the way home. On my way out again, Halim called. I guess he finally woke up? Haha.
So off Halim and I went, after numerous wrong turns and turning into 3 DEAD ENDS, we finally manage to pick Nad, Bamboo and HanepK (about an hour and a half late than the time we planned. ㅋㅋㅋ). Vroom, vroom, vroom and with the help of my talking gps(s), We finally reached my beloved upper secondary school – Sekolah Menengah Teknik Kuala Lumpur a.k.a Technical Institute of Kuala Lumpur.
The Malay name of the school like biasa-biasa (normal-normal) only but the English name damn cun right? Haha! One of the worst ways to come back to you school is to mati engine AT the guard house. Aigoo, I do still need loads of driving experience.
First teacher that I saw was Pn Leela (I guess). Gosh! I miss her! I think right, if normal girls, they would probably go up to her and hug her. I think lah. But me, I just stood there, awkwardly and smiled to teacher. I’m not the huggy huggy kinda person, I don’t hug everybody. Haha!
After a quick greeting with Pn Leela, we headed to the main office to collect our cert. AIYOO! WHAT HAPPEN TO THE AIR-COND IN THE OFFICE?! Damn sibeh hot inside the office, da lah the outside also hot! Oh yeah, and there were other people who came to like Aiman, Kechix, Mad, Haziq Joe, Hanif Norizam, Che, Naddy, etc. I don’t remember people well. ㅋㅋㅋ
Actually, a LOT of time was wasted, I feel lah. I think maybe 30% of my time there was used to wait for people -..-” After every single one (approximately 15 people I think) collected our certs, we headed off to the teacher’s office to meet our teachers like Pn Khairiah Hasni, Pn Azizah, Pn Azura etc. A LOT lah but tak kan I list down everything. Haha!
Anyways, here’s some photos on the changes in TIKL ever since I left :-
So TIKL has this mini round about in the school compound. Haha! It used to be just a faded dirty school logo on the round about but now it’s a CLOCK TOWER! ☜(˚▽˚)☞
And also now there is this wall thing right outside the canteen. Honestly I think it’s unnecessary lorh cause I don’t see the function of this wall.
Except maybe to take picture? HAHA! ≧^◡^≦
YOU SEE!!! So nice liao this place! It used to be just zinc roof with metal pillars and some benches i that area but now it’s like some GRAND MAJESTIC area! (⊙.⊙(☉_☉)⊙.⊙)

SEE! The area outside the SAC room sibeh amazing and nice leh! ☝☝☝☝☝Honestly I quite jealous lorh, why during my batch that time they never do all these changes. (҂⌣̀_⌣́)ᕤ
However, even though the junior batches have all these amazing changes, but I still think my batch is the best of the best. (─‿‿─)
I browse TEKNIKA 2012 yesterday, just want to see my interview part. HAHAHA! I think kinda sucky lorh! But overall TEKNIKA 2012, I would rate it a 6/10. First off, I didn’t like the turquoise coloured cover. And the senior page, not very creative. My batch’s (TEKNIKA 2011) more creative and awesome! (>‿◠)✌
I’ve been to 6 learning institutions so far, namely Tadika Seri Permai, SJK(C) Taman Connaught, SMK Seri Mutiara, SM Teknik Kuala Lumpur, TAR College and KMTPh. Till date, the one school that I favour most, the one school that I don’t mind going back to would have to be TIKL.
I’ve made my mark in TIKL, so the teachers there know me (in a good way I guess). Haha! If I go back to my other 5 learning institutions, probably no one knows me cause I’m a nobody there. At least in TIKL, I’m a somebody and I feel belonged there.

Freakishly awesome results from a technical student! Not in a boastful way, but just in a happy kid way, I saw that batch 2012′s top student scored only 6 A+ which means my SPM results is still the best of the best in the school’s history for the past 5 years? 10 years? Haha.
Well to end this long winded post, I got to say that I had my best schooling years in TIKL. Even though it’s just less than 2 years (I enrolled late in Form 4), I learnt so much you can’t even imagine! TIKL always at heart ❣
