Time In A Bottle, #1063

My Jewish new year is starting off in the sweetest and most significant way this year.  Two days after Rosh Hashanah, my daughter turns 10.  TEN!!!!!  Omg, how could that possibly be?  We are a heartbeat away from the tween years, and yet, she is still my baby.  I want to shout, “Slow down!!!”

I remember people telling me when she was born how childhood happens in the blink of an eye.  “Before you know  it, she’ll be graduating college.”  As I was living these last 10 years, it didn’t seem fast at all, but now when I look back on it, I can’t believe it.

It’s not Thursday, but I have a Throwback Thursday photo for all of you anyway.  Here is my sweetheart on her 2nd birthday.

My song of the day today is “Time in a Bottle,” because that lyric, “If I could save time in a bottle,” is really hitting me today.  Perhaps I should revise what I said earlier – the New Year is starting off bittersweet.
