I’m the first to admit that my husband is a generous man and leaves me asking for very little. He even does the small things like making me a cup of tea on our first morning in London or the time when he picked up a box of my favourite cherry cakes and brought them home.
It was perhaps a week ago we were sitting in our living room when all of a sudden Mr. Bhojwani looked up at me and randomly said;
‘Ok, I’ll get you an iPad when we visit the US.’
Baffled by the sudden barrage of random information I took a moment to process the confusing content.
‘But, when did I ask for an iPad?’ I inquired.
‘I know you’ll want one,’ was his smug response.
‘I want a Chanel bag!’ I corrected him before any other silly idea found its way into his brain! ‘You know I want a Chanel bag!’
‘Yes but…’
‘No buts!’ I stopped him before he employed this Jedi mind-trick he goes on about. ‘A Chanel bag! Don’t get me an iPad just because you want one!’
