TMART REVIEW: Makeup Brushes

TMART REVIEW: Makeup BrushesHello lovelies!Today's post is a little different but you know me, I love a little variety now and again. So for a while now I've been in debate about getting a set of makeup brushes for Christmas and I've mmm'd and aah'd for ages and was leaning towards some real techniques ones as I hear good things about them, however not so long ago I was contacted by the lovely folk over at Tmart and was asked if I'd like to review a cosmetic makeup brush set for them, the timing was perfect so I obviously said yes! They come in a small variety of colours but I was particularly drawn to the pale blue. I think it was great price for what you receive too, I'm not a one for having tons of brushes, I'll update my brushes probably over an embarrassing amount of time and only buy the odd one, so this set is ideal because I prefer the bigger brushes for foundation, powder & blush, rather than smaller ones for concealer and lips etc so that was an appealing quality to me.
TMART REVIEW: Makeup BrushesThe brushes are standard size so they fit nicely into my makeup bag. The only issue I had was that it doesn't say what brush is for what, so for any of you who don't know the ins and outs of beauty products then do your research, although I suppose you can use any for whatever you want, but that's just a personal preference of mine. (From L-R) I used the first brush to apply blush to my cheeks, the second I used to blend all my makeup together, the middle brush for powder, the stippling brush to apply my liquid foundation and the brush on the end for contouring. Like I've said, I may have done that wrong but I didn't have any directions for use haha! If any beauty experts know which brush is for what then please let me know below.TMART REVIEW: Makeup BrushesI was really impressed with the feel of the brushes too, they felt really soft and gentle on my face and the application of products worked really well. I've been using the stippling brush A LOT since I received these because it blends my NARS Sheer Glow foundation so flawlessly which is a problem I had with a standard foundation brush. I also really like to use the angled brush for applying blush to my cheeks as well and the black and white tipped brush I like to blend my makeup all together after I've applied what I wanted. Just to give you an idea, the first photo of myself, my makeup was applied using these brushes so you could see the effect it has. Hopefully a good one! haha. Overall I really like them and they are really affordable too for under £10 which is an ideal price for someone like me who is wanting to try out the right brushes for the right makeup products, I think they would be a really good Christmas present for those who are wanting to get into makeup etc. and I will definitely be continuing to use them in my everyday makeup. Thanks for reading!
