To All of You...

I wanted to tell everyone who reads this blog, THANK YOU. I don't care if this is your first time reading, you've only read once before or if you're a frequent commenter. All of you contribute to this blog. I author it, but YOU keep it from going extinct.
I'm not sure why all bloggers have a blog. I'm sure there are thousands of reasons for starting a blog and thousands more for why people keep their blogs up and going. I am not sure what all of those reasons are. I know why I blog, though. It took me awhile to figure out what the REAL purpose of my blog is. I think a lot of highly read blogs are themed blogs.  Themes like DIY, organization, inspirational, fashion and all the other themes. I never felt like mine fit in any already established category except possibly lifestyle. I know many bloggers struggle with this same identity crisis. It was definitely an eye opener and I felt more united with the blog community when I decided this wasn't a themed blog, this is MY blog. The theme is my life. I will tell all types of stories, I may rant until my face is red, gloat about my husband, shame my puppies and maybe even bring up politics.
That's where all of you come in. Thank you for reading, thank you for following, thank you for commenting. Blogging is therapy for me. I've always loved writing in any form. When I was younger I wrote poems, I still have a huge binder full of those old poems somewhere. I've always been a journal keeper and now I'm a blogger. I love telling my stories. It's so fun to have everything documented so I can remember what I felt like when Jared proposed or when I was irate because of pinterest. If this blog was about fashion/organizing/DIY then you wouldn't know about my most embarrassing story EVER or that Indie loves eating books, but it's my blog - so you do know who I am. I'm transparent on this blog and choose to document my life here.
One last time, THANK YOU, for letting my blog be a success, for keeping me motivated and keeping me writing.
Did you suffer from an identity crisis as a blogger/writer?

P.S. Tomorrow I am hosting the "bad to the bone" link up. Where we tell naughty stories about our animals. PLEASE join and link- up! Shia's featured this week... and a soccer field is involved.
