When we got married and we found out that we were expecting our first child back in 2012, I turned to blogging. I wanted a way to record how I felt and a way to make sure that I could keep hold of precious memories forever more and being that we were both so into computers, a blog felt like the natural way to do just that.
Adam and I met at school when we were 14 years old and I fell head over heels in love with him. Since then I've tried my hardest to spend as much time with him as possible because he makes my heart truly happy. There's something about being with someone for so long - sharing all of your memories growing up and them being your best friend that makes you feel well and truly alive and when I'm with Adam that's exactly how I feel.
I find it difficult (though I could write forever) to put into words what Adam means to both me and our boys, he really is our rock. In October we will have spent 16 years of our lives together and honestly I couldn't imagine it any other way and I really wouldn't want to. He's my best friend, my rock and my soul mate too. He makes me laugh everyday, he makes me feel safe and content, he picks me up when I'm hard on myself and he's the best Dad to our children.
I'm a really really lucky, lucky lady. And so I just wanted to write this little post as an extra way to say, Happy Valentines Day to my love.
