Toddler Tried & Tested

Remember back when I was pregnant and I wrote a whole post about how I hated the new generation of I-Kids?
Yeah...that is one of many pre-motherhood ideals I had which I have since been forced to swallow my words on.
Tyne is not even two for another few weeks, and he is already very much an I-Kid!
I'm not even 100% sure how that started - I recall finding a cute looking Thomas The Tank app one day and installing it - there followed a 3 month haze of morning sickness hell and the choice between having a toddler sitting on your knee and trying to throw up past him OR giving him the i-pad and hoping it keeps him occupied and out of your way for long enough for it to pass.
Since then....that I-Pad is by far and away his favorite thing to play with, and I have to admit defeat - he knows his way around FAR better than me or his Dad, and I have basically lost my favorite technical device to a toddler - whenever I get it back these days its covered in sticky finger smudges and usually paused on a nursery rhyme YouTube video that I daren't risk losing for fear of unleashing the toddler wrath the next morning.
Anyway...I digress...
The point of all this is that I had been feeling a bit perplexed at having lost most of my daytime TV rights - we have Apple TV you see and since Tyne has developed an obsession love of YouTube I was getting reeeeally tired of watching Kinder Egg Unwrapping videos one after the other
So when we were given the chance to try out the My Doodles Kids Dock - I wondered if perhaps my prayers had been answered!

The MyDoodles Kids Dock is the perfect dock for tablets or smart phones, allowing your child to listen to music or video with excellent sound quality and to control the volume themselves with the super-easy touch buttons.
As the photos demonstrate, Tyne picked this up in no time at all and happily sits flicking his way through his favorite YouTube videos and adjusting the volume as he likes. The Kids Dock uses Bluetooth technology so once your device is paired there is no need for wires or cables.

The KidsDock also enables you to charge the device as you watch, and has two handy USB ports.
And my favorite thing about them is the super cute designs!
We chose the adorable Monkey design, but there is also a lovely pink Owl design available too!
