Toddler Tried & Tested: Personalised Shape Sorter
This week Tyne has been testing out this rather beautiful personalised Wooden Shape Sorter from GiftsOnline4U
Available for £24.99 with free UK delivery from www.giftsonline4u.com who specialise in creating gifts to make you smile.
The shape sorter is very high quality and you are able to personalise it with up to 45 characters in a choice of 6 different fonts, making it a very special and personable gift choice for a special occasion such as a birthday or even a christening day.
It comes with 16 shapes (triangle, circle, square and rectangle) in four colours - the shapes are all well cut so there are no sharp edges and the wood is all perfectly smooth and safe for little fingers.
Tyne really enjoys sorting the shapes and figuring out how to put them on their correct stand and group them together - he enjoys naming the colours, and is starting to learn the different shapes too - he has circle down but is still learning the rest!
I think this toy is going to be great for getting him familiar with the names of the shapes, and it's also great for encouraging hand-eye co-ordination, and fine motor skills.
The shape sorter is suitable for children aged 2+.
