The walls of your ears
Were filled with words
And taunts.
While mine, were barren
And dry, filled with silence.
You were barren too,
Your throat was dry.
You were dying
From thirst.
The thirst of isolation.
Only that I knew,
Isolation is a poison.
While you told me
Even words kill
Without drawing blood.
Either and each way
We had to die
With our love.
Though, the sound
Of your laugh
Will be the remedy
To my silence
And my smile will bless
Your isolation
In our afterlife.
