Checking out the Tonka at ASDA Range
I had very happy boys when they opened the box and discovered we had been sent a Tonka Diecast Big Rigs, a Tonka Diecast Monster Truck, two Tonka Tinys blind garages, a Tonka Tinys three pack and Tonka Tinys Tune Up Garage Mini Playset.Tonka Tinys Blind Garages
There was a race to get things out of the packs and both boys couldn't wait to check out what was inside the blind garages, there is definitely something about the excitement of blind packs that kids just love.
The little mini vehicles are very cool, with lots of details and moving, working parts for such small palm sized toys. The boys love the fact that they come in their own individual garages which can connect together or be stacked up on top of each other so more play possibilities right there. The Tonka Tinys blind garages are perfect pocket money toys priced at £1.99 each and they also come in packs of three for £4.99 which have two on display and a third surprise one.
Tonka Tinys Tune Up Garage playset
The Tonka Tinys Tune Up Garage playset has definitely been a hit, there is so much to do in this mini playset with it's working vehicle lift, conveyer belt, three bridges and a rotating garage sign it has already provided hours of play for Zachary who loves the fact it is small enough to carry around from room to room and play anywhere with. It also includes an exclusive Tonka tiny's vehicle and is compatible with every vehicle in the range so great for Tonka Tiny collectors. This playset along with the others in the range (Blast and Dash Quarry or Car Crush Escape) have an RRP of £9.99 which in my opinion is fantastic value for money given just how much there is to do with them.
Tonka Diecast Monster Truck
The Diecast Monster Truck (RRP £6.99) is one toy that will definitely stand the test of time, like the other toys in the range it is strong and sturdy and lives up to Tonka's notion that “a toy shouldn’t break just because a child plays with it”. Did you know that back in the 70's Tonka proved this point by getting an elephant to stand on one of their toys.
Tonka Diecast Big Rigs Rescue Rig
The Tonka Diecast Big Rigs Rescue Rig is another tough toy that will withstand the roughest of play so a perfect toy for taking on adventures indoors and out. The level of detail in this rig as with all Tonka toys is amazing, I am really impressed at how Tonka minaturise big trucks to such smaller scaled verions. Tonka Big Rigs are priced at £6.99.

The Tonka range is available from selected ASDA stores with products from £1.99 to £9.99. They are not yet available online but watch this space as they will be coming soon.
