Top Hen Party Ideas

Posted on the 23 May 2014 by Sparklesandstretchmarks @raine_fairy

Deciding on a hen party theme or activity is always a hard one. You want everyone to have fun, but of course the main person to impress is the bride to be herself. There's no point choosing an action packed weekend of paintballing, go karting and bungee jumping if she's more of a spa and afternoon tea kind of girl after all.
There are literally hundreds of great activities you can choose from for a hen party these days, so which one should you go for? Take a look at a few ideas:
Party Bus

Get the party started on board your very own private party bus and head out for a tour around your chosen city, whether that's in the UK or abroad is up to you. You'll be picked up by your very own state of the art party bus, packed with your favorite drinks and a huge sound system which will take you to your favorite clubs and bars before taking you all back home again at the end of a great night. A great way to do a bar crawl without your heels playing havoc with your feet. One thing you will need for your night on the town is evening dresses for all the hens. You'll find a great selection in George at ASDA's range of evening dresses.
Eye Candy

It is a hen party after all and who can resist a bit of eye candy on a night out to celebrate your friend's forthcoming wedding? Whether Butlers in the Buff, semi naked man servants who'll attend to your every whim at your very own private party, or visiting a strip show, is what your bride to be would prefer, there's something to suit every blushing bride. And in this case, she is quite likely to be blushing for the majority of the night.
Pamper Party

Why not spoil yourselves with a spa package for the hen party? Perhaps an afternoon of pampering followed by afternoon tea is your bride to be's kind of thing. Or maybe even a spa weekend full of luxurious treatments, relaxing dips in the spa pool and champagne and laughter in the jacuzzi. It's a great pre wedding activity which will make everyone feel special.
Cocktails Anyone?

Now we're not talking about going to a bar and just drinking cocktails, although that can be fun too of course, but making cocktails. You'll get taught how to make great cocktails during this fun activity - you'll even get to sample the fruits of your labor and there's often a competition to decide on who can make the best cocktail too. A great hen night activity to get the party started.
Vintage Party
What could be more perfect for a vintage loving bride to be than a vintage themed hen party. Visit a kitsch tea room for a delicious afternoon tea served on vintage china, followed by a visit to a burlesque club. Maybe even try your hand at burlesque too. You'll be laughing at your attempts to conquer the burlesque moves in no time.
By planning to suit the bride to be's tastes and considering others in terms of budget and activity preferences you're sure to have an amazing hen party, whatever you do.
