…Touch Base

I hope you enjoyed your couple days off because today it’s back to athletics. The Final Four is just a few days away which can mean only one thing—it’s opening day!

If I lost you, you might not be a baseball fan. Which is completely fine. Much like the Ramblers’ fan base, you’re welcome to join.While some teams’ official home openers are still a week away (Cards, I see you), that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited about the return of the boys of summer today.

Baseball is more than a national pastime, it’s a sign that summer is back…even if it’s in the thirty. It’s a reminder that no matter what we may disagree on, at least half us can agree that the ump is blind.

Most of all, it’s an excuse to cut out of work early on a Thursday and go drink a beer with your fellow fans. No matter who you root for (unless it’s the Cubs) have a happy opening day!
