London - jumping through puddles, dodging rain, the destination - theatre house, pub, Topshop - was always worth it and I'd keep doing it forever if I could
Amsterdam - while stoned, passed by thousands of bikes on our way to the Van Gogh museum where we stood in line for an hour to get in, only to be farted on repeatedly by an Asian lady who squeezed in front of us at every painting.
Rome - stayed at a Holiday Inn that said it was close to public transit. Had to pass pimps and hoes and dudes getting head in alleys and cars to get to said public transit
Barcelona - bought bootlegged beer from a midget on Las Ramblas and tried sweet-talking our way into a titty bar cuz we had spent all our money on boot-legged beer
Cardiff - Didn't realize the Oasis / Foo Fighters concert we'd paid $400 for to attend in December was in an uncovered stadium; was 30-something degrees out, arrived without jackets and left with some certain degree of hypothermia but it was one of our favorite nights
Prague - met some peeps from Manchester; went with em to a strip club and we all stayed out drinking in a dark, tiny purple and black pub til 8 am - had no idea it was that late/early until we stepped out into the sunlight
Dublin - it was during the World Cup, streets and bars were hella crowded. Pubs on Temple Bar Street weren't even letting people in anymore. But the McDonald's next door to the last place we tried was. In Europe, McD's serves alcohol and apparently they also wheel the tv set out of their breakroom so that patrons can watch World Cup games. So we hung out there all night, eating French fries, watching proper football, getting hammered, and meeting new people.
Paris - Meandering around Montmartre, listening to artsy Parisians playing instruments on the steps of the Sacre Coure chapel / taking drunken pics in the middle of the night on people's mopeds in front of a neon orange place called "Chicken Kitchen"
Florence - walking around at a carnival at night drinking straight from a bottle of wine, listening to all the things people said that I didn't understand - it all sounded astoundingly romantic; afterwards, drunk and unprepared, I went into a 24-hr Internet cafe and wrote a college Ethics essay that was due by 6 am - I emailed it to my professor around 4:30
Malta - remember the night coming to a close after being roofied up by a bartender on my second measly beer / walking on the cold beach at 2 am / wanting to burst into tears when served rabbit meat at a Maltese bistro
Berlin - everything / spending Christmas night in a strange bar under a bridge with new friends
Copenhagen - the most beautiful people I've ever seen so far / taking pictures of ourselves making out on the bulldozers that were parked in front of our hotel
Stockholm - kept missing our buses, had to run through the rain for almost two hours to get to the modern art museum only to be kicked back out into the rain for being caught taking pics of Andy Warhol's pop art cow wallpaper
