What happens when your husband insists that beef is the only REAL meat??
You trick him.
A week ago I posted on Calorie Counting and other ideas on how to drop the Thanksgiving pounds before the Christmas ones appear.
Eating fatty, high calorie meals is not part of that plan. But I can't be serving up bland, boring meals either - or Ryan will try and convince me that we deserve a "treat" and should order in pizza.
So I created this delicious, low calorie turkey chili. I LOVE chili. Something about it screams cold weather and holidays.
This recipe is easy. You can use your crockpot or just leave it simmering on the stove. It was so delicious, Ryan would have never known in was only 360 calories a serving, & it tasted just as fantastic warmed up the next day for lunch.
Enjoy this recipe & tricking your dear husband (or even your own tastebuds) into thinking you are eating 600-700 calorie chili (calories in a typical recipe).
Trickster Turkey Chili{4-6 servings}

1// Brown turkey in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add in onions and garlic & cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.2// Reduce heat to medium and add in all other ingredients.3// Stir well.4// Spray crockpot with cooking spray.
