Recent legislation meant to combat Internet Cafe gambling (apparently it’s a thing), has brought to light the sinister nature of some Chuck E Cheese entertainment. The new legislation could technically define some of their games as illegal under-age gambling.
Some cynics might say this is a gross over-reaction. Some people might say that depriving the children of the world of their games to make their point might be overstepping.
Clearly “some people” have not seen the slippery slope from skee ball to the craps table.
The place is run by a giant mouse serving children pizza, something tells me illegal underage gambling is the least of our worries. I know what you’re thinking and Mickey is not the same thing. A mouse in entertainment is endearing. A mouse in food service is a health code violation.
