Tuesday Forever!

Amu hated Tuesdays
There was something sinister about them
Mondays were alright because the weekend had just gone
They were the days to reminisce the silence , when springs didnt move, when the switches were off
Wednesdays were good too
They gave hope of being mid week
They gave the hope that half of the week was gone, that life would be over soon too
Thursday and Fridays were the best they were the days of anticipation for Saturdays and Sundays
Saturdays and Sundays when she could oil the nuts and bolts and
repair the creaking parts
But Tuesday was the worst of all
With a sinking feeling of hopelessness
It was that day
She counted minutes
For her to be switched off
For it was a hopeful Wednesday
The next day
She woke up with electricity jolting her to action
As usual
She moved with new vigor
Only to know
That it was Tuesday again!It was Tuesday forever!
