Life ceases to amaze me. It's been awhile since I've spoken out on ...this & that... I think it's time, don't you?
Let's be honest my blogging has kind of taken a back seat this year (and part of last year). To date this has been an interesting year. I've done a lot of thinking. A lot! And candidly I've dealt with quite a bit of change over the last 10 months. That's part of life though, right? Change happens, accept it, move forward. Right? Right. It's been quite a journey.
There's been up's and down's. I've really taken a look at my life, my decisions, my choices, my feelings and my emotions. It's been very introspective, very enlightening. I'm currently re-inventing certain aspects of my life. But, then again that isn't that what change is all about isn't it? I will say though, that sometimes, it takes you by absolute, complete surprise. And I've been suprised a few times. I can laugh about them now. But, when they were happening I didn't necessarily laugh.
It's also been a self-assessment of sorts. When there is change in your life it's definitely interesting to see who sticks around and who doesn't. And how that whole process plays out. And of those who remain, how supportive they are and how wise their commentary and advice is. I have some very special friends! You know who you are. Each of you are pretty amazing in your own individual way and you have definitely stepped it up the several months! I thank you and love each and every one of you with all of my heart. And you know who you are.
I am going to share some of these random tidbits with you: the good, the bad, the ugly, and the humor. There's a point in time when each of us needs to stand-up, brush ourselves off, and laugh about it. Life happens. Experiences make us who we are. And we move on.
