If you find yourself wondering what Tornado Week is, well you’ve been missing out.
This week, the Weather Channel is “celebrating” all things tornado.
But more importantly, they’ve trapped their interns in a Twitter-powered tornado. All week, they’ve been asking tweeters to turn it up with the hashtag #tornadoweek.
Yes, you read that right. The interns are working in a tornado. Even better, if they reach one million mentions by the end of the week, they’ll turn the wind up to an EF-5 tornado.
Now we’ve all had our horror story internships (or at least heard about them), but this is taking it to a new level. Although, the good news for the rest of us, is that it’s kind of entertaining.
Plus it’s a nice break from all the live feeds of kittens. Happy tweeting!
