Bug turned 3 a week ago on January 23rd.
I snapped a few pictures of her in her birthday girl shirt. She wore the same tutu on her 2nd birthday last year.
My parents took her out to Chik-Fil-A for lunch. On the way back she picked our 3 heart balloons.
Daddy brought her her first flowers after work. She was so excited! {Excuse the crazy hair.... this was after playing outside in the wind and after her nap.}
Spaghetti at home for dinner. The kids favorite! {Up until recently Bug used her left hand for almost everything. She just started using her right hand occasionally.}
Little C was happy.
With her flowers, presents, "heart" cake and "heart" balloons. She's all about hearts at the moment. :)
Cheesy grin.
Simple little heart cake. She loved it. :)
I love this picture! I love Bug's silly grin and Little C's "pose". I have no idea what prompted him to stand up on the chair and lift up his shirt. Haha! Just being one, I guess. Icing in her hair and spaghetti sauce on her face. Not to mention that crazy, wind blown hair. We keep it pretty casual around here.
Opening gifts.
It was a nice, low-key birthday with our little family. My mom, sister & I also took her out for breakfast the day before her birthday. And this past weekend we had a belated little party with my in-laws. It was kind of nice to do something different this year.
