I was sent some beautiful thank-you flowers recently for my efforts at work – very lovely I know! In this bunch of flowers where 2 of the most crazy and unique flowers I’d never seen…I don’t know what they’re called (please advise!)…they’re these yellow bursting ones.
Anyway today was time to through them out – but before I did – I had a go at making a print with one of them by painting and pressing / rolling it on some paper. Although the effect was interesting, I wasn’t that impressed,. The flower is so interesting I decided to dissect it and stick it instead. I tried to arrange the pieces into a bursting effect to reflect the energy of the flower in it’s original state…
