Now, it has been confirmed and even more potentially thrilling news (or soul crushing depending on which side of the Force you reside on) has been revealed.
Disney has set its sights beyond the New Republic, they will not only be finishing the 9-part saga, other unrelated Star Wars projects are in the works.
Although how a Star Wars project can ever truly be “unrelated” to the original Star Wars films is beyond my comprehension.
Particulars aside, enthusiasts and Jedi alike, that’s your cue to get excited and/or up in arms about this latest revelation. Don your Jedi robes, place your arguments, play your mind tricks, unveil your theories, find the droids you are looking for, and get to it.
The Trekkies have been getting too much air time lately if you ask me. All of this buzz surrounding the unknown villain Benedict Cumberbatch is playing in the upcoming Star Trek sequel (also directed by J.J. Abrams) Star Trek: Into Darkness…. I actually find quite fascinating, but don’t let that deter you.
