Mondays can be rough, and even rougher when they’re actually a Tuesday after a holiday weekend. Thankfully, this Tuesday, I have some good news to lessen the post-holiday blow. Ready?

Pasta is good for you again! 

Okay, that might be a bit of a stretch, but it’s at least off of the “going to shorten your lifespan” list.

According to a study conducted by the IRCCS Istituto Neurologico Mediterraneo, there’s no link between pasta intake and your BMI. For those wondering, yes that is an Italian Institute, and yes they would seem to have a vested interest in the health value of pasta. 

But also consider that the study didn’t focus on pasta, but on the Mediterranean diet as a whole.
Another important fact, the study involved over 23000 participants. So, you can more easily convince yourself that it’s right. Right?

Feel free to draw your own conclusions, but personally I’m going to enjoy my pasta a little bit more.
