Used Game Consoles Will Pay For The New Ones

Used Game Consoles Its only 100 days until Christmas, just where has this year gone? The kids are already writing their list to Santa and I have noticed that two of the children are asking for the same item.

The annoying thing is last year they also asked for this item and both got one, but this year they want the upgraded version.

It’s quite amusing when you have children close in age because they both end up wanting the same items and there is no way that they would want to share a prized possession, so I end up buying two of everything.

Now don’t get me wrong I love the DS consoles as it sure keeps the kids quiet and the games are great as we have one that teaches Math and number skills and another that challenges the brain, both educational games.

But why do they have to keep upgrading them and bringing out new ones?

“But all my friends have one” my daughter tells me

It’s something about it being 3D, I am not too sure what is so great about that but it seems to be important to them.

So I have an idea, if they both have an upgraded version they won’t want the ones they have now and I know of a few places that buys used game consoles.

Then I can use that cash to put towards buying the newer ones.

It’s so expensive this time of year and when you have 6 children you can imagine how stressful it can be.

You always want the best for your children and you want to be able to buy them the things that they would like, but sometimes that’s not always possible.

Feeling guilty because we can’t afford to buy the things that the kids ask for is part of parenting, I save all year round but at times I stress so much that I am letting them down.

I have friends who bargain hunt and buy second hand gifts; it was friend who told me about the online shops that buy your used game consoles so I think this is something I will be looking at doing.

The best thing is that it costs nothing to send your item to them either and the money goes straight into your bank account.

It’s got to be better than just leaving them laid around the house.

Have you ever used these types of online sites and what was your own experience?
