Vertbaudet: Clothes Fit for a King

Posted on the 01 June 2013 by Ellenarnison @Ellen27

Boy Three has decided that he is royal - the king, no less. And therefore won't do anything unless there is appropriate kowtowing. Or at least the buying of biscuits.

Unfortunately this was the day he got to try out his new shorts and sandals from Vertbaudet.

So he's spent all day loftily waving me away saying "no pictures, today, the king doesn't feel like it". Marvellous.

Anyhow, King Contrary changed his mind and insisted I took photos while he performed the Gangnam Style dance on the stairs.

HRH is modelling Boys' Combat Bermudas and Sandals from the current collection.

The shorts appear to be well made, they have the all-important internal waist adjustment plus plenty of roomy pockets for Lego. They also have a popper to fasten the fly - essential for those, however blue-blooded, who haven't long mastered the lavatory.

The shorts are lots of Velcro so they fasten firmly with padded straps. No complaints from Boy Three so that's a result.

Cool and practical clothes from Verbaudet. And, my main reason for loving them is they are in brighter prettier colours than the normal sludge and navy of boys' clothes.

Disclosure: The Pretender was sent a pair of shorts and some sandals to try out.
