That is what I call as advancement in technology. It is good to understand as a business what your customer needs.

VivoBook Is Your Everyday Notebook

ASUS VivoBook S15 weighs only 1.7 Kg and has 17.9 mm profile. The screen is 15.6”. In terms of quality and performance, it is as good as any high-end laptop. It comes with Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB DDR4, 1TB, and MX150 NVIDIA graphics. In fact, there are two variants. One comes with quad-core Intel i7-8550U processor. The other comes with quad-core Intel i5-8250U processor. As a matter of fact, there are two storage devices. Firstly, it has 1TB HDD that is more than enough for storage requirements. Secondly, there is a 128GB SSD (solid state drive). This helps in reducing boot-up and app loading time thus providing you superfast performance. The reversible USB Type-C port ensures excellent transfer speed. For instance, a 2GB movie takes hardly a few seconds to transfer to a USB drive. Besides USB 3.0 port, there are two USB 2.0 ports.

ASUS VivoBook S15 has one HDMI port and Bluetooth 4.2. One of the remarkable features is its dual-band 2×2 802.11ac which is 6 times faster than 802.11n port. It has a Lithium-Polymer battery. Apparently, you get up to 8 hours battery life. This, in fact, ensures 3 times longer battery time than normal Lithium-ion cylinder batteries. The latest technology battery charges from 0 to 60% in just 49 minutes. A word of caution is to avoid the charging on for long periods while the battery is between 98% and 100%. This can not only shorten battery life but also physically expands it. In other words, it will swell or de-shape faster in that case. But hold on. There is a solution from ASUS to tackle this. This special battery preservation technology is “SuperBattery”. This feature intelligently monitors and limits the maximum charge to be given to the battery cells.

ASUS VivoBook Has Longer Battery Life

In the nutshell, ASUS VivoBook S15 battery undergoes more than 900 charge cycles. In fact, usually in normal notebooks, it is 300 charge cycles. Practically, it saves the cost of two batteries. Another significant feature is Asus Battery Health Charging App. This app, in fact, allows a user to manually set its Relative State of Charge (RSOC) to 60%, 80%, or 100%. If you limit a laptop charging in this manner, it increases battery’s operational life to a substantial extent. The notebook will be available for purchase from October 1, 2017. You can buy it online or offline. The starting price is INR 59,990.
