Before we left (and when I was allowed to talk) about the move we got mixed reviews about he move. Some people joked that it seemed about that time again. Others tried to help with al the advice on how to do move. (No offense: we've moved 4 times now so I'm sure I'm doing alright.)

Most of our friends were really excited about our move and being the next step in his career. We were in shock on how quickly this happened. He got the e-mail on Saturday from the VP that they would like to him about the position. He interviewed with the VP on Monday, the GM on Wednesday, he got offered the job on Thursday, and accepted on Friday. It was such a quick turn around. I was happy, nervous, scared, and a million other emotions all at the same time. This is something that we have worked for, (yes, we not him. Just ask any sports wife.) and it was finally coming true. This is just another step to get him to be a GM. (General Manager)

Another friend made a comment that struck me weird. She said (totally paraphrasing because I can't remember that far back) "How brave you are to move with him? To be honest, I really don't think of myself as brave. I am just doing what I feel I should be doing. We are a family! When first got together we were both in the sports industry. My job took me half way across the country. After some long talks we decided that he would pursue the sports industry, but I have been so fortunate to work with some great teams while we have been married.

I think there are so many other people much braver than me. I am just doing what I think is the right thing for my family.
What have you done lately that is brave?
