So this week has already been crazy. Between just regular “life” and getting ready for Farmbrook Designs End of Season Open House the days are flying by.
This Saturday, from 10-4, we’ll be inviting friends, neighbors, and members of the local community to join us in our backyard to check out the wares of a few Artist friends. We have beautiful ceramic sunflowers from Black Cat Pottery, terracotta and glass from Puddingstone, and several other artists.
Chris, owner of Farmbrook Designs, will have his many hypertufa designs and be hosting the event.
I’ve been busy preparing food for our guests including two types of frittatas and huge amounts of granola cakes. Hopefully we’ll be able to sell the granola cakes to visitors after they’ve had a sample. They are pretty addictive!
I’m excited to see how our guests respond to our chickens milling about the yard and hope people will purchase some of the eggs we’ll have for sale. We’re looking forward to having people over and think it will be an enjoyable time.
