Wedding Dresses 101

As girls, I'm sure we already have visioned what it's like to experience a wedding day and of course that includes all dainty things from the venue, theme, up to the gown that you're actually gonna wear! Isn't that kind of fascinating and magical? Of course it is! It's like the most enchanting moment a woman could ever experience in her entire life. Imagine yourself walking down the aisle to the altar with your most favorite wedding dress, to marry your significant other. Sounds exciting, isn't it? Now if you're a bride-to-be, then you've come to the right place. I'm gonna show you different kinds of wedding dresses to help you choose what perfectly fits and looks great on you.
The following dresses can be bought at Rosa Novias, an online shop from the UK that sells all sorts of dresses including wedding, wedding party, bridesmaid, and special occasion dresses.
I picked my personal favorites and categorized them into types. Enjoy these lovely pieces!
BALLGOWN

If you want to look like a Disney princess, then the Ballgown dress is perfect for you! This kind of dress flares from the waist to floor length making it a full circle skirt. This would look good on pear-shaped body types since it entire hides the lower body.

A-LINE

The skirt forms a silhouette of a letter "A" from the narrow waist line down to the bottom hence it is called an A-line wedding dress. If you are kind of conscious in the body type that you have, you can actually go for an A-line dress since it gives a semblance of a narrower waist. However, A-lines flatter all kinds of body types. I'd actually pick an A-line dress for my wedding (in the far future haha!) since it's not really that big looking nor too tight.

MERMAID/TRUMPET

Mermaid/Trumpet dresses are fitted to the body from the chest to a few inches above the knee. This dress creates a sexy and dramatic look. If you are confident enough and want to show your curves and slim waist, then this would look great on you! But some would find this kind a bit uncomfortable since it's expected to be tight and body-hugging. Nonetheless, it's still elegant and figure-flattering.

EMPIRE

If you want a free-falling dress, then you'd probably need an Empire. Empire dresses usually flow from below the bust down floor length. If you are more into function over fashion, then I recommend an Empire dress for you.

Rosa Novias still has a lot in store for you. You should definitely check their site out and decide your favorite piece. I actually had a hard time finding the most beautiful ones to post here because they literally got tons to choose from!
If you still aren't a bride-to-be, maybe just a guest, a relative or a close friend of the soon-to-be husband and wife, then you should definitely check out their wedding party dresses that would totally fit your needs. I chose some of my faves. If I ain't the bride, then I'd prefer wearing these dresses instead.

Rosa Novias don't only offer wedding dresses but they also have special occasion dresses, perfect if you are going on a prom, an elegant dinner date, or just any other special occasions you are to attend to.

I know, I know, the excitement you felt during the first part of reading post is now overflowing. I wish I could also be able to dress as elegant as these ladies on my wedding day so I could gracefully walk down the aisle to the man I'll marry.
I hope you learned something from this post and somehow rang a bell on what dress you'd prefer on your wedding day! Best wishes to all brides and grooms out there!
