Weekend Plans in Dallas

So stressed out.
Roommate refuses to give back his keys until we give his $700 deposit back. We refuse to give the deposit back until he pays the $350 for the past 6 months utility bills he owes. It's a standoff! The little bastard came over yesterday without telling us, let himself in, and took a few of his small items that we had started piling up. He "forgot" his coats so he'll be back for them later.
Everyone has told me to re-key the locks, but I have to go through the apartment management company so it's a little troublesome. Plus, he has another week left on the lease. I don't like the idea of him coming and going, but there's not much I can do.
He is currently making the claim that because he was only there half the time and slept at his girlfriend's the other half, he shouldn't have to pay for the utilities. Not sure how that works out in his stupid mind. Since none of us were in the house for two weeks in December - shall we send half the December bills back unpaid?
This whole ordeal has made me sick to my stomach. I have cleaned and maintained that house for the past ten months. I bought dish washing soap, toilet paper, paper towels, condiments, milk - all the shit we needed when something was low. I have paid him $2,500 in rent so far for basically being his house keeper while I was allocated a five by five feet portion of the house where I got ready and a spot in M's closet and bed.
And this is how I'm treated. I hope karma bites him in the ass and he fails Step One. Then he'll definitely need that deposit to pay for the second exam fee.
I'm trying hard to get rid of this anger coursing through my veins. Happiness... happiness... happiness.
HAPPY THOUGHTS: Anyways, this week is about to get a thousand times better. Tomorrow I'm flying to Texas to visit my family! I found a last minute flight for $160 and decided it was time to go back to my southern home. MmmMMM barbecue food here I come!
