The much anticipated wedding was last weekend! This was the date I had in mind when I refocused my goals and motivations. I had planned to have lost a grand total of 35 pounds by then, and instead lost 30. I’m okay with that; coming within the 5 pound mark is still something to celebrate. You’ll remember also that I posted about my goal dress, with pictures for inspiration. Although coral was the color of choice, I tried on a million different dresses at many different stores, but ended up falling in love with this baby blue Cynthia Steffe design. I love it.
And Joe looked dapper in chino’s and new shirt. The dress fit like a glove (for better or for worse!), was incredibly comfortable, and I felt good all night long. The ex-girlfriend didn’t show up (must have heard I was going to be there… wink wink) and while the weather was touch and go, the venue (high in the mountains of Vermont) was beautiful.
