Weekend Wrap-up

We had a busy, busy weekend!! 
We bought our Honda Pilot last Saturday (a week ago) and by the following Monday my husband realized the car had some major issues going on. Luckily the dealership we bought it from fixed it up for us free of charge (as they should!) this past weekend and hopefully everything will be good from here on out. It's a long story but I spent a good chunk of my day Friday and again yesterday running around getting the Pilot looked at, getting a loan car, then picking up my Honda and taking it to get a second opinion. We found out Friday that the front right tire was so wobbly that we shouldn't have been driving it at all! Everything looks fine now and seems to be fixed up. I just hope we won't have any more problems with it.
Saturday afternoon my sister, Bug and I went to a home show at the Cowboy's stadium. This was our first home show and we envisioned tons of home decor and garden stuff. Ha! Turns out it was the boring-est stuff ever! Besides two jewelry booths we had zero interest in anything. Unless you're buying a pool, jacuzzi, a new roof, kitchen cabinets or a tile floor it's not really very interesting.
Afterwards we had a late lunch at Pei Wei then went to the mall and Barnes & Noble for a while.
Bug and I didn't get home until 6 and we stayed home the rest of the evening.
We went to church on Sunday for the first time in about 3 weeks. We were moving, then the kids were sick so we missed two or three Sundays. It was nice to go back. We had Panda Express take out for lunch. After the kids naps we headed over to Lowes and Home Depot to look at window shades. We also stopped by Sprouts and I went into Buy Buy Baby for the first time. I love that store! They have the greatest bags and awesome strollers! I could probably browse in there all day. Ha! I'm totally getting baby fever but definitely don't want another one until sometime next year, at the earliest. There are days I think I'm crazy for wanting more... but I really do.
Monday I was out again most of the day. Took the kids to the library in the morning then ended up driving across town to pick up our Pilot at the dealership, then I headed right over to a Honda repair shop to have them do a quick check to confirm it had been repaired properly. Then we came home, Bug took a really late nap, we had dinner, then headed over to Lowes to buy shades for the living room. I also found a super cute orange & pink striped bag at Buy Buy Baby on Sunday evening. Yesterday I found a $10 coupon to Buy Buy Baby and I realized I could use a $25 Bed Bath & Beyond gift card at Buy Buy Baby... so I ended paying about $8 for a $40 bag! Great deal! I'm going to use it as a pool bag this summer. {I'm pretty sure I blogged awhile back about my intentions of not buying another bag for a while. Oops. Guess that's one commitment I can't keep.}
