Immediately after work ended on Friday, I hopped in my car and headed on down to Newport News for a weekend of lovely fun. I got stuck in traffic three separate times, initially got on I-95 in the wrong direction, and spent the majority of the trip driving through dumping rain. But I made it alive and had a fantastic time.
There was very little sleep involved, but all in all a fabulous weekend. I documented most of it via Instagram and so I shall recap the weekend for you in pictures.
1) I started the weekend off with Snapple. That was my fact.2) The Trible Library, all lit up at night.
3) A giant piece of delicious chocolate cake from Smokey Bones post the Friday night show.4) A free Auntie Anne's pretzel during a mall outing with Emily.
5) The amazing honey butter croissants at Cheddar's during dinner with my Biggie.6) My wonderful Capulet Lover post the Saturday night show. She was so amazing.
There was also a breakfast date and lunch date with two of my wonderful friends, Patrick and Josh, as well as a run-in with Matt during the Auntie Anne's date at the mall, and a fantastic evening of conversation with my Roomie Biggles after the show on Saturday, but alas, I forgot to record those events via Instagram.
