I’ve been saying for a couple weeks that I need to take an afternoon and clean up my little flower garden and get it ready for spring. Well I haven’t done it and quite honestly haven’t paid any attention to my little garden, until yesterday.
As I was walking back from the trash dumpster I noticed some color poking through the dead leaves and (very) dry dirt.
I have columbines coming back in 2 places and several daffodils. The daffodil bulbs multiplied when germinating this year. I planted 2 little daffodils last year and this year I have 2 coming up.
There are also 2 little pansies poking their heads back up :) I’m so excited. I brought my hose out and watered them really good. Now I need to add more dirt. That will come payday.
