To be honest I never thought I would be working for a NHL team or even a professional team. I always wanted to work for a MiLB team. When I was in college I studied/majored what I did (Marketing/Journalism with a minor in Stats) because in most MiLB teams it is short staffed and many people wear multiple hats. I still would like to get back in the minors, but that will come in time.
My favorite job that I have ever had in the sports business ways with the Tulsa Talons. They are now in San Antonio in the Arena Football League. I interviewed for a Game Operations Intern, but on my first day I got promoted to Interim Director of Marketing. I did all the media for the team with a little bit of sales. I tried to avoid and do the bare minimum on the sales side because I didn't have any training. If I knew then what I know now I think I would excel extremely at that job. Outside of work I am interview with the sorority, Delta Zeta, as the State Alumnae Chair for the states of Arizona and Nevada. I am now an ACTIVE member of the Junior League of Phoenix. I am so excited to be an ACTIVE and not a provisional. It was a tough year, but ready to see where next year goes.FOLLOW: Facebook || Twitter || Instagram || Pinterest || Bloglovin
