But it's not my dream home, my 'if I could have anything home', not at all.
I once wrote a property article about flats created from a converted castle and I spent a morning wandering round looking for adjectives. I came away certain that, while something a bit bigger and solider would be nice, I didn't want to live in anything too grand.
However there are some essentials:
An AGA. Obviously. And the blue is so pretty.
An open fire:
A ferocous shower: In a large and serene bathroom with lots of space, fabulous lights and pixies to keep it clean.
Shower complete with very clean pixie.
A room of my own: Preferably in splendid isolation. Somewhere I can go where no one is going to bother me, except to bring cups of tea. I will do most of my best work there and they'll put a plaque up later to say so.
The courtyard would be full of comfy seats, plants that don't die and something that create a gentle tinkling sounds. I'd probably do yoga there too.
