Just as almost every household we purchase different medicines when they are on sale or when we are sick.
The sit on a shelf in a cabinet or stored away behind stuff in a closet.
Now is the perfect time for you to dig out all that old medicine and throw out what is expired or what will soon be! If it expires next month you are better off just disposing of it now and purchasing new.

Personally I choose to purchase Walmart Store Brand Medicines for two reasons, One being that name brands have had a recent history of recalls and I choose to not take that chance when it comes to the health of my family and Two because honestly the prices are amazing and even on a low budget are pretty affordable!
For those of you that do not know what should be in your medical supplies it would be a great idea to look at your personal help as well as that of your family or housemates.
In my house I stock up on the following:
Ibuprofen (Both Childrens Liquid and Adult)
Acetaminophen (Both Childrens Liquid and Adult)
Allergy Medicine (ie: Benedryl,Claritin)
Cough Medicine (Again, Childrens and Adult)
Triple Antibotic Cream
Nasal Decongestants
Nasal Spray
Gas Medicine( Childrens and Adult)
