If you follow me on Instagram then you may have seen that I recently went along to the This Morning studios in London for a look behind the scenes at one of the UK's most loved TV shows.
The reason for my visit was not only to get to snoop around the studios but also to find out all about This Morning Live 2019...and it sounds pretty exciting!
But first let me tell you a bit about my day behind the scenes!
I arrived at Television Centre feeling pretty excited...I remember a comic strip about the place in Smash Hits magazine when I was a kid that I absolutely loved, so just to be there felt very surreal! As we walked through the cafeteria I made sure to keep my eyes peeled for famous faces, and quickly spotted Denise Welch and Lisa Faulkner..exciting!
We headed to the This Morning area and got to see the make up room and wardrobe areas, which was really interesting as well as finding out some inside information from the fashion & beauty team before taking a look in the production room were the shows producers were running the cameras and talking directly to Holly & Phil as they filmed.
Then we got to go and sit in the studios and watch as Holly & Phil recorded the cookery segment of the show live...it was so fun to watch it all happening, and the food being cooked smelt amazing!
Afterwards Holly & Phil said a quick hello, and we were able to go and take some photos of ourselves in the studio which was really good fun.
I loved my morning getting to snoop around behind the scenes, and it was a relief to be there without any of the nerves I had last time I visited when I was a guest on the show!
So...back to This Morning Live...what is it and why should you go?
Well...This Morning Live is a shopping festival with hundreds of top lifestyle brands, small retailers and boutiques displaying their items for you to browse - the selection on offer this years includes home products, fashion, beauty, food and drink to name just a few.
